| Position: Construction Project Manager |
| Job Description/ Information: We are seeking a commercial construction project manager, capable of managing General Contracting protocols. Duties & Responsibilities including but not limited to the following: • Oversee projects from start to finish • Create the teams, develop the objectives/goals of each and assign responsibilities accordingly • Perform key role in project planning, budgeting and identification of resources needed • Communicating effectively with clients, subcontractors, and internal team members • Process/Apply for permits as needed • Coordinate construction projects (manage schedule, order/receive materials, work with clients) • Pre-construction safety planning and logistics • Ensure work is prepared per building codes and manufacturers specifications • Coordinate with superintendent and crews to complete projects per required deadlines • Provide regular updates on schedule during weekly meetings and identify any changes or challenges • Periodic inspection of construction sites • Workers compensation claim review • Maintain and update OSHA compliance forms • Secure Manufacturers Warranties as required • Controls project expense by categorizing and analyzing expenditures; comparing expenses to project budget; reviewing purchases; evaluating cost trends; recommending adjustments and corrections. Skills /Qualifications: • Proven project management experience • Ability to validate sub trade bids against plans and specs • Effective communications and mechanisms for resolving conflicts among the various participants • Understanding of division 1-16 scope/trades • Implementation of various operations through proper coordination • Ability to handle multiple, simultaneous, time-sensitive projects • Effective time management and goodwill building ability • Commitment to Certified Contracting Group core values required • Computer knowledge and proficiency required for Microsoft “Office” including Outlook. • Ability to formulate letters for business communication purposes • Knowledge of “Computer-Ease” software a plus Company Benefits: • Health Insurance Plan • Dental Insurance Plan • 401K Plan • Paid Vacation and Holiday Plan • Supplemental Insurance with AFLAC Work Experience: Minimum 5 years experience in construction Industry Reporting: This position reports directly to the General Manager and indirectly to the CEO.
